Let me begin by saying that ginger is enshrined by God and is one of the most potent and aromatic herbs on the planet. The National Herbs Association of America noted the by-products of ginger as the best and safest herbs in the world. In a recent American Journal of Medicine, it was discovered that the best way to combat cancer is through ginger. So, with this kind of knowledge, we should know that Ginger may be the greatest asset Nigeria has to battle poverty, economic instability, and falling oil prices. Speaking of prices, do you know how much unprocessed ginger costs? It costs about $3000 on average per metric ton.Also, do you know how much processed ginger costs? Well, for your information, it costs about $6000 on average per metric ton. So, believe me, when I tell you, we are talking about a product that can revolutionise the Nigerian economy. As of four years ago, we produced about 700,000 metric tons of ginger, and as of 2020 we were at 734,000 metric tons and we are on course to pass 800,000 this year.
